Instructions
Prepare the crust:
In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Mix until well combined and the mixture resembles wet sand. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form an even crust. Place in the refrigerator to chill for 15–20 minutes while you prepare the next layer.
Make the cream cheese layer:
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated. Spread this creamy mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
Add the fruit layers:
First, layer the sliced bananas evenly over the cream cheese mixture. Then spoon the drained crushed pineapple across the top, spreading gently to cover. Finally, spoon the cherry pie filling over the pineapple layer. Try not to press too hard—just smooth it across.
Top it off:
Spread the remaining whipped topping gently over the top layer of cherries. Add chopped nuts if desired, and garnish with fresh cherries and banana slices. If you’re feeling playful, add colorful sprinkles or mini chocolate chips for a festive touch.
Chill and serve:
Cover the cake and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is even better) so it can firm up and the flavors meld. Slice and serve cold with a smile!
